About me
My name is Jan, and I specialize in hotel, architecture, and interior photography.
I photograph the spaces people travel for, the rooms they wake up in, the light they remember, and the details that quietly communicate quality.
Hotels are not just buildings. They are experiences built from design, atmosphere, and service.
And in today’s market, photography is often the first moment a guest interacts with your property. One image can shape expectations, influence price perception, and decide whether someone books or scrolls past.
My approach is clean, consistent, and intentional.
I focus on strong composition, natural-looking light, and a polished finish that fits luxury hospitality standards. Whether it’s a calm suite, a busy lobby, a restaurant at peak hours, or a spa that needs to feel quiet and timeless, my goal is always the same: Make the hotel look as good online as it does in real life.
Over the years, I’ve worked with international hotel brands and teams who care about detail, brand consistency, and high production value. I understand the pace of hotel operations, the importance of timing, and the reality that marketing teams need visuals that perform across web, social media, press, and campaigns.
It’s my privilege to collaborate with hotel owners, general managers, marketing teams, architects, and designers, helping them present their property in a way that feels true, premium, and worth booking.
A few facts about me
I’m a proud father.
I love hiking in the mountains and I have a habit of taking selfies with cows in alpine meadows.
My hiking boots last me a maximum of one season.
If I’m not hiking I am mountain biking, if I am not mountain biking I am paddle boarding. Just love outdoors…
I believe pineapple belongs on pizza, and cappuccino can be ordered even after lunch.
I like to pick up heavy iron plates and put them down. I do this several times a week for at least an hour.
