This series explores the iconic Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik through a technical lens focused on light, heritage, and the hotel's legendary vistas. Originally built in 1897 as the city’s first luxury hotel, this property demands a photographic approach that honors both its Belle Époque architecture and its refined, modern interiors.

The primary goal of this shoot was to solve a common industry challenge: balancing the deep, moody interiors of a historic building with the high contrast brightness of the Adriatic Sea. In many previous representations, the sea views were either "blown out" or lost in a blue-on-blue haze.

By strategically shooting during the softest light and meticulously blending morning and sunset exposures in post-production, we achieved a seamless "window pull." The results showcase the King Executive Sea View rooms and Imperial Suites exactly as the guest experiences them—with the turquoise waters and the historic Fort Lovrijenac framed perfectly within the room’s contemporary design.

This project was a true collaborative effort. Working alongside Mirna, the Hilton Marketing Manager, we had the creative freedom to interpret the hotel’s "visual rhythm." From the King Superior Rooms to the Accessible Guest Rooms, every shot was curated to reflect calm elegance.

The production was supported by my assistant, Blanka, whose tireless work from sunrise to late evening and fresh creative input ensured we captured every detail of the property’s materiality and flow.
